The brush is wired on (bigger items are always wired/nailed for safety). Also contains a corner of a passport, I found a load of these on the ground near the passport office in Dublin city. What a find! Check out the name of the tune, on the left side. I use all 4 sides to get the most out of the canvas and because it's good to look at things from all different angles!

Acrylic and mixed media on deep edge canvas. 8 x 8 inches. Previously exhibited in London in Lubomirov-Angus Hughes Gallery. Partly inspired by a Centra slogan and the intensely fast pace of contemporary life. Contrast the convenience food with 21st century poverty, as represented by the auld one brushing the floor (even though she's 19th century, Ireland still harbours an underclass - normalising homelessness, for example).
Also features the corner of a passport that just reads "ach". An exclamation -
Ochón = a wail or lament in Irish language.
